7 Cool Survival Homemade Weapons

What are some of the most important things that you may need to survive? If you are like most people, you will probably say that you need food, shelter, and water. Although that is true, there may also be other times in which you need items that are not included in that number.

One of the things that you may find you need more often than not as a weapon. Weapons are something that we should have with us in the event of a scenario that puts our survival skills to the test. What are some of the reasons why you would have them?

For most of us, we think about a weapon as being something that would protect us. That may be true, but it is not the only reason why we would have one. We would also need a weapon in order to hunt and if we are hungry, there may be something we need in order to bring down the squirrel that will be the next meal.

Having a weapon in our go bag is always a good idea but it is also something that many of us overlook. What can you do if you find yourself in a situation where you need a weapon but you didn’t have one in advance? Actually, using some relatively common items, you can fashion a weapon that will help you survive.

Some of these weapons are going to be rather unusual looking but that doesn’t mean they are not effective. As a matter of fact, you could easily injure something or stop them dead in their tracks if you learn how to use them properly. That is really the key, using them as a tool for which they were intended.

In some cases, you will need to use a bottlecap and some rubber bands in order to create a weapon that will fire wooden pieces. Actually, with some sharp pieces, you could easily puncture the side of a box or a can. It may not necessarily bring a human down, but he could do the job when it comes to hunting birds or some other animal for food.

There is also a gigantic slingshot that is made in the video that you will find both interesting and amusing. It is made out of large pieces of rubber and an upside down table along with a cooking pot. This is one of those weapons that you may never use in life, but it is still interesting to know that you have it available.
