How To Start Prepping: Top Ten List

Are you ready for coming problems? More and more frequently, people are preparing for difficult times. In doing so, they may help themselves and their family to survive.

When you are starting to prepare, what is it that you do first? More than likely, you are not going to go dig a hole to build a large bunker or map out a survival plan for some type of zombie apocalypse. No, you are going to start with the basic plan.

That is what we have in the following video. It’s an amazing list of how you can start prepping and gathering the things that are needed in order to help you and your family keep safe. It’s not an extensive list, but it is one that will help you to get started.

Essentially, here is the list to get you going:

Led Flashlight – you are going to need a flashlight to see at night but there is more to it than that. You can also use the flashlight for communication under certain circumstances.

Batteries – how many and what type of batteries should you take along with you? You should pack his many batteries as possible, perhaps even two or three times as many as you will need for the basic equipment you have.

First Aid Kit – although it is possible to buy a first aid kit, it is much better if you design and build your own. This will help you to be fully prepared and to adapt if necessary.

Water – generally speaking, you will need about three days worth of water. This would include drinking water as well as some water for cleaning and cooking purposes. More water is always beneficial.

Fire – although you can’t truly bring fire along with you, you can bring the items that are necessary to get a fire going. This is important because a fire will save your life.

Food – it would be nice to take our favorites with us but we really need to stick with the basics. Items that are easy to pack and will last for a long time in storage.

Corded Phone – we can’t rely on our cell phone or a cordless phone to work during this time of survival. Make sure you have a corded phone for communication.

Wool Blankets – True wool blankets will help to keep you warm all night long.

Vitamin Supplements – You may need some supplements to keep you healthy. You should choose supplements that are a one-time-a-day dose.

Ammo – finally, make sure you have ammo available for the weapon of your choice.
